in memorial of giulia

GP Dr Giulia Kitchin was only part way through renovating a dilapidated cottage into a refuge for homeless women when she died of a brain tumour in January 2023.

But her dream has just become a reality after her husband, Dr Russell Young, finished the project in her honour, two years after her death.

The 130-year-old weatherboard cottage had been earmarked for demolition; it was on a block bought by the couple intended for car parking for Dr Young’s sports medicine clinic in Albany, WA.
